We are firmly in the midst of Autumn. Leaves are falling, the clocks have gone back and as you wander around the streets of central London, you can’t fail but be impressed by the assortment of Halloween displays adorning the white stucco houses found within the exclusive enclaves of Belgravia and Chelsea (Chester Square as ever is a firm favourite).
But what about the property market?
There are some agents and commentators who are already talking as if the year end is upon us, with plans now focusing on 2024. For many, half term holidays are not yet over, so whilst we applaud forward thinking, at Tedworth, we are certainly far from finished for the year.
Not only are we working hard in an effort to secure a number of exchanges for clients, our team are still preparing properties to be launched to the market this side of Christmas. In a market such as ours, it is impossible to predict when buyers will be actively looking and we don’t believe a client should attempt to try and wait for the perfect seasonal moment.
Our approach has always been to press on, implement a dynamic marketing strategy and indeed create our own market – this is how we’ve always done it (with great success) since 2017 and it’s how we will continue to work.
