With the anticipated outcome of this week’s planned debates and votes in Westminster unclear, it would be foolish of us at Tedworth to give short term predictions on the London property market.

However, what is increasingly prevalent is that there is a lot of frustration in the property market at the moment:  frustration from sellers not feeling confident enough to commit to fully market their properties; and frustration from buyers not finding new properties coming to the market.

The best advice for committed sellers is to get ahead of their competition by being ready to go to market as soon as some positive sentiment returns, and there are signs that may not be far away.  Appoint your agent (Tedworth!), get floorplans, photos and EPC done and prepare your home ready for viewings – as and when there is a sudden upturn, this could allow you to take advantage of re-found optimism ahead of your competition.
